Cauliflower Update: Aloo Gobi

Just updating the fruits of my labour for the week.  I made the Aloo Gobi as I said I would.  The verdict - 'Yum, yum, yum' in the words of my one year old daughter.  Great use of the second head of cauliflower I picked today.  I used this recipe: http://vegetarian.about.com/od/maindishentreerecipes/r/easygobialoo.htm Let me know what you do with cauliflower!!

  1. Jeff, this is freakin' awesome! Last week I planted heaps of cauliflower and broccoli and am so worried they won't take - it's my first attempt at growing these plants - every morning I go out and check my vege patch and so far they haven't died, so I suppose that's a good start. I'm worried my soil is to clumpy.... weeds & grass grow really well in there, so I am hoping all will be ok! Today I planted some kale, I had it in England and loved it, so thought I'd give it a go here. Anyway, hope you are well, I am going to check back here soon! Pia.

  2. Hey Pia
I'm pleased you are enjoying it!!!! Have a look at the post "Public Enemy" for some tips about your little seedlings. I'm going to be posting about soil in the next couple of weeks. May be worth a read. Would love to see pics of your garden.
